Dr. Okine is a radiation oncology physicist who has spent over two decades studying and practicing the treatment of cancer with radiation at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, Hampton University Proton Therapy Institute Hampton VA, DePaul Medical Center, Norfolk VA and Cancer Center of Hawaii.
He is a graduate of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and earned both his Master and Doctoral degree at Hampton University, Hampton VA. He focuses on providing latest cutting-edge technologies and treatments options in the fight against cancer with interest in motion management, prostate seed implant, radiation detectors, dose measurement, and STEM education. Dr. Okine keeps healthy by playing soccer, hiking and running.

Dr. Nick Fiavey, MD, MPH, FACP

Dr. Nick Fiavey, MD, MPH, FACP, is an experienced internist, public health consultant, and researcher who has worked for the federal government in various capacities for 25 years. He is an attending physician at the VA Medical Center in Biloxi, Mississippi. He previously worked as a medical officer for the Peace Corps in Liberia during the Ebola epidemic. He is also the founder and former medical director of a successful private medical practice in Newburgh, NY. Dr. Fiavey earned his MD from the University of Ghana Medical School, completed post-graduate studies in epidemiology and biostatistics at the Hebrew University School of Public Health in Jerusalem, and specialized in internal medicine at the State University of NY, Health Sciences Center in Brooklyn. He also has experience in biomedical research and has authored several peer-reviewed scientific publications. Dr. Fiavey is passionate about returning professional healthcare talent to Ghana and Africa.
